The Real Sarahs – I co-founded The Real Sarahs in 2013, with Sarah Ryan. We started with a performance at a local variety show in 2010, formed our first musical group – Motherland Family Band – in 2011, and launched out as a duo under the name The Real Sarahs with our first EP in 2013. The Real Sarahs are a vocal harmony based Americana ensemble with a revolving cast of musicians supporting our singing and songwriting. Currently, we gig (mostly) as an all female trio to quintet and perform at festivals, house concerts, music series and concert halls throughout California, and beyond. Bring Joy – Bring Joy is a passion driven project dedicated to showcasing Northern California’s top musical talent. This band is founded by Jason Beard, of Poor Man’s Whiskey, and features a core crew of players together a with a revolving lineup of guest artists to add novelty and fun to the mix. With a fusion of bluegrass, Americana, blues, and jam, Bring Joy puts on upbeat shows with originals and fun covers with a bluegrass twist. What The Folk! – I started What The Folk! as a pandemic livestream to entertain and stay connected to fans and friends stuck at home in early 2020. My partner Jon Tyson quickly joined me and we went live daily experimenting with new songs and taking requests from our viewers. What started as an online gift has evolved into a live duo project that performs at venues throughout Northern California.
